Job summary

Omnicare, part of CVS Health, seeks a Consultant Pharmacist to coordinate pharmaceutical services in long-term care facilities across Indianapolis and surrounding areas. You will perform MRRs, guide program development, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while collaborating with facility leadership.

The role is full-time, on-site with 40 hours weekly, and may involve occasional travel. Indiana licensure, clinical LTC experience, and immunization credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana pharmacy license in good standing.
• 3+ years of clinical pharmacy practice, preferably in long-term care.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified.
• Geriatrics/gerontology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility leaders to coordinate pharmaceutical services in long-term care.
• Conduct Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) and provide written reports.
• Educate facility staff on new programs and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve pharmacy-related resident care issues and regulatory concerns.
• Perform on-site reviews and communicate findings to facility staff monthly.
• Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and services with account teams.
