Job summary

Nutrition that Works, LLC in Shelby, MS is seeking a consultant dietitian to join our team for 4 hours per week (or 8 hours every other week). Enjoy a flexible schedule and excellent pay in a long-standing, patient-focused setting.

Responsibilities include clinical nutrition assessments, documenting with the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR, collaborating with the interdisciplinary care plan team, completing the MDS - Section K, calculating TF, and making wound and weight-change recommendations.

Qualifications

• Credentials with the CDR and state licensure are required.
• Clinical nutrition assessments must be completed for residents in the long-term care setting.
• Documentation of the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR is required.
• MDS - Section K completion is part of the role.
• Ability to calculate TF and translate findings into care recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical nutrition assessments.
• Document using the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care plan team.
• Complete the MDS - Section K.
