Job summary

Partner Forces is seeking a Consultant to support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients in delivering mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, low-ego problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages competing priorities, and partners directly with government leaders.

You will work across homeland security, emergency management, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and other national security engagements, thinking strategically while executing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years supporting federal government programs or related PM work.
  • Experience with DHS or other federal civilian agencies.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive briefs.
  • Experience producing reports, presentations and client deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DHS suitability or security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workstreams supporting client programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage schedules, priorities, deliverables, and risks across efforts.
  • Analyze problems and develop actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Develop executive briefings, strategic communications, and deliverables.
  • Build relationships with government stakeholders and teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve programs and operations.
  • Mentor junior team members and guide project execution.
  • Contribute to business development and internal initiatives when possible.

What We Are Looking For

Partner Forces is seeking a Consultant to support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients in delivering mission-critical programs and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, low-ego problem solver who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities, and partnering directly with government leaders to solve complex operational challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of engagements supporting homeland security, emergency management, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and other national security missions. Consultants are expected to think strategically while remaining hands-on in execution, providing exceptional client service and contributing to the growth of Partner Forces' capabilities.

What You'll Do
  • Lead workstreams supporting client programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage project schedules, priorities, deliverables, and risks across multiple efforts.
  • Analyze complex problems and develop actionable recommendations for client leadership.
  • Develop executive briefings, strategic communications, and client deliverables.
  • Build trusted relationships with government stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve programs, strengthen operations, and enhance mission outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on project execution.
  • Contribute to business development, proposal efforts, and internal initiatives as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7 years of experience supporting federal government programs, consulting engagements, or related project management efforts.
  • Experience supporting DHS or other federal civilian agencies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level writing and briefing development.
  • Experience developing reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination or security clearance, as required.
