Job summary

Dean Snyder Construction Co. is seeking a Construction Worker in Clear Lake, IA to perform a variety of manual labor across concrete, carpentry and steel tasks. The role supports skilled workers and requires the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has basic construction knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn. This is a full-time position with safety and PPE requirements emphasized on every project site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or two years of construction-related experience.
• Experience in a specialized trade area preferred.
• Ability to work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete pouring activities such as directing concrete into forms and finishing.
• Assist in constructing wood-framed structures by shaping materials and assembling components.
• Assist in constructing structural steel buildings by setting up hoisting equipment and aligning members.
• Install prefabricated window frames, doors, weather stripping, trim and hardware.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders; construct forms and chutes for concrete pouring.
• Follow PPE policies and safety procedures on site; report problems to supervisor.
