Job Opportunity: Construction Crew Member at Morton Buildings

Morton Buildings is expanding our construction crews and employee ownership! We are an industry leader in post-frame construction with a history spanning over 120 years. Our network includes more than 10 manufacturing, fabrication, and shipping plants supporting over 100 construction centers nationwide. Each year, thousands of buildings across the U.S. feature the Morton M.

Salary: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Additional Bonus: Earn an extra $2000 in your first year, with a quarterly bonus of $500 during your first year, subject to taxes.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow safety and construction procedures, standards, and methods.
2. Read and interpret construction plans.
3. Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
4. Perform tasks such as digging, footing installation, framing, installing doors, windows, siding, roofing materials, and trims.
5. Collaborate with team members in a respectful and productive environment.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in building construction, carpentry, or framing preferred.
2. Willingness to complete training programs.
3. Valid driver’s license preferred.
4. Availability for 9-10 hour workdays during peak seasons.
5. Ability to follow directions and produce quality work efficiently.
6. Compliance with safety protocols.
7. Ability to operate construction tools and safety equipment.
8. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and work at heights up to 40 feet.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Willingness to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays of up to two weeks.
