Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies seeks a Construction Industry Vertical Lead to shape strategic direction, growth, profitability, and long-term success of the construction portfolio. The Lead will own strategy, roadmap, and execution, acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Initially an individual contributor, this role may evolve to include people leadership and additional verticals, collaborating across disciplines to drive profitable growth and industry

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in middle/large commercial P&C insurance in underwriting or portfolio management.
• Deep expertise in Construction.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to develop and execute long-term business and portfolio strategies.
• Experience leading complex initiatives across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the vertical strategy, roadmap, execution, and financial results.
• Establish and maintain vertical appetite, guidelines, and best practices.
• Provide guidance on complex accounts as needed.
• Monitor portfolio trends with data-informed risk management.
• Lead cross-disciplinary strategic initiatives.
