CopperPoint Insurance Companies seeks a Construction Industry Vertical Lead in Arizona to shape strategy, drive profitable growth, and steer long-term success for the construction portfolio.

Initially an individual contributor role, the position may evolve to include people leadership and expansion into other verticals. You will influence cross-functional partners and act as a trusted industry expert both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in middle/large commercial P&C insurance with construction focus.
• Ability to develop and execute long-term business and industry strategies.
• Experience leading complex initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Understanding of profitability drivers, analytics, and risk management.
• Experience with P&L ownership or shared accountability preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the vertical strategy and roadmap and accountable for execution and results.
• Establish vertical appetite, underwriting guidelines, training, and best practices.
• Provide expertise on complex accounts as needed.
• Monitor portfolio trends and KPIs to identify opportunities and risks.
• Recommend actions to improve portfolio performance and growth.
• Lead strategic initiatives requiring cross-discipline coordination.
• Build alignment among stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Serve as industry expert and external ambassador at events and meetings.
