Quality Talent Group is recruiting a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced construction and utility support team in Beltsville, MD. You will operate loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, perform groundwork, and monitor utility systems for efficiency.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals and schematics, and strong safety awareness. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating utility systems preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Assist with additional duties as required
