Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator for a fast-paced production environment in Waldorf, MD. The role supports safe and efficient operation of loader, backhoe, and skid steer, with focus on utility systems performance and site safety.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain clear communication with team members while following safety policies and procedures to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
