Qualifications

• Experience in construction underwriting, including casualty/liability covers.
• Ability to underwrite new business effectively.
• Confident communicator with brokers and clients.
• Analytical mindset for complex risks and market conditions.
• Commercial focus on profitable growth and retention.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite construction risks across new business to meet growth and profitability targets.
• Assess and price risk in line with Allianz appetite and underwriting strategy.
• Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships through regular engagement.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with brokers to secure sustainable business.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the market.
• Contribute to regional underwriting strategy and key business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Claims, Operations, and Risk teams.
• Represent Allianz positively in broker and client meetings.
