Job summary

A.R. Mays Construction seeks a Construction Superintendent to directly supervise field work performed by the company and subcontractors on assigned projects. You will be part of the project team and ensure on-time completion per contract and schedule.

You will manage the project schedule and day-to-day operations, direct work in line with plans, and uphold high quality to protect client and company reputation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years experience as superintendent for commercial GC or comparable.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Project and Procore.

Job Summary

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the direct supervision of field work performed by A.R. Mays Construction and its subcontractors on assigned projects. Is a member of the project team and works with other team leaders to build the project successfully. Assures completion of the work on time per the contract and project schedule. Is responsible for the project schedule and day-to-day operations. Directs performance of the work in accordance with the plans while maintaining the highest standard of quality. Ensures that the field operations are managed in a manner which will enhance the client's and this company’s reputation.

Applicant Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3-5 years working as a superintendent for a commercial general contractor or comparable experience
