Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Project Training Coordinator/Facilitator for a Construction environment at Thacker Pass, NV. The role delivers training programs and materials across remote locations, requiring a valid driver’s license and capability to operate on multiple sites.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 10–17 years of relevant experience. Will collaborate with ES&H and Construction teams to ensure effective craft training and skill assessments.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience developing core training curriculum for Construction or related industry.
• Hands-on experience delivering safety training and orientation programs.
• Ability to mentor junior training staff and ES&H representatives.
• Current US driver’s license for training across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES&H and Construction on developing, revising and implementing craft training.
• Coordinate skills verification, apprentice mentoring, and identification/rectification of skill gaps.
• Supervise project trainers and/or Craft evaluators.
• Provide guidance to Craft Trainers and Evaluators for training at all Craft levels.
• Oversee capability assessments of direct hire Craft.
• Manage training facility layout, resources, setup and maintenance.
• May participate in selection of evaluators/trainers.
• Coordinate classes, instructors, facilities, times, participants and instructor evaluations.
• Collect, assemble, and analyze training data and report to management.
• Maintain training and testing data in Labor Relations systems.
• Other duties as assigned within capability.
