Job summary

Sundt Careers in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to plan, schedule, and evaluate training programs for our construction teams. You will aid in developing instructional materials, online courses, and supporting employee instructors, with travel to project sites as needed.

The role requires 3–5 years in education/training in construction, a college degree in construction, business, or education, and strong communication and program management skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of combined education and training experience in construction.
• College degree in construction, business, or education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and program/project management skills.
• Teaching or training experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be available to travel to Sundt projects/offices as needed, 50%+ travel.
• Conduct and support research and development for talent development initiatives.
• Design, develop and select instructional materials and online courses.
• Ensure training records meet program, company, client and gov reporting requirements.
• Provide consulting to employees, managers, and departments on training issues.
• Teaches selected classes through live or remote delivery.
