We're seeking a Craft Training Coordinator to support training, onboarding, and workforce development initiatives for self-perform construction operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience coordinating construction training programs, apprenticeships, and safety compliance who enjoys helping craft professionals succeed while ensuring training standards and regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and track training for craft employees and support professional development initiatives.
- Partner with field management and recruiting teams to ensure successful onboarding and completion of required training.
- Schedule mandatory training through the Houston Area Safety Council and other approved providers.
- Maintain NCCER Accreditation by ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate and administer Department of Labor apprenticeship programs, including maintaining apprenticeship records and updating the RAPID system.
- Administer and proctor apprenticeship classification examinations.
- Coordinate company safety training and monitor employee compliance with required certifications, including Basic Plus and other safety programs.
- Track and manage Heavy Equipment training and other specialized training initiatives.
- Support Craft Leadership Boot Camps and employee development programs.
- Maintain accurate training records, reports, and audit documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve training scheduling, reporting, and compliance processes.
- Record meeting minutes and maintain documentation for training committees.
- Perform additional duties while following company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of construction training or workforce development experience, OR
- Associate degree in Education, Training, Administration, Communications, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant construction training experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating employee training, onboarding, or apprenticeship programs within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of NCCER, apprenticeship programs, OSHA/construction safety training, and Department of Labor compliance is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate with field personnel, recruiters, training providers, and project teams.
