Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Construction Technology Manager for our Water Division in Phoenix, AZ. This role leads construction technology services, analyzes designs and schedules, and develops new processes to optimize cost, schedule, and quality. Travel may be required as projects span multiple sites.

Responsibilities include modeling, proposal support, and staff coaching, with a focus on delivering high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration with design partners and trade partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related professional experience in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Minimum of five years in a construction technology role or similar external experience.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling, LiDAR, photogrammetry, UAS/Drone operations, and related collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to construction technology services including constructability analysis, coordination, and scheduling.
• Evaluate design documentation and schedule for opportunities and risks.
• Set goals for construction technology services at the project level.
• Refine processes and implement new techniques for pursuits and projects.
• Resolve competing interests among project participants.
• Produce estimates for construction technology services.
• Review and edit graphic communication media for clarity.
• Manage, advise and train less experienced staff.
• Audit 3D models for risk and construct models for various purposes.
