Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Construction Technician in Terre Haute, IN. Two openings are available. The role involves safe work practices, driving/digging operations, and obtaining a CDL by the end of the qualifying period.

Wage range is $21.60–$36.31 per hour, with potential to rise based on performance. Responsibilities include hauling tools, climbing, working at heights and from buckets, handling materials, and installing cable plant.

Qualifications

• Must interact with work forces to coordinate and disseminate information to complete job assignments and other sections to attain Company service objectives.
• Must maintain a professional image, support and participate in promotion of Company products.
• Must be able to demonstrate the basic usage of a computer (laptop) with Company provided training by the end of the qualifying period as well as attend and pass any other training schools as assigned by the Company.

Summary:

Follows established safety practices and procedures and when needed be able to work in all types of weather. Must possess ability to learn to drive and operate digger truck and trailer, and to be able to obtain the required CDL driver's license by the end of their qualifying period.
