Job summary

Frontier is hiring a Construction Technician in Lafayette, IN. The role involves following safety procedures, learning to operate a digger truck and trailer, and obtaining a CDL by the end of the qualifying period.

You will lift tools, climb ladders and poles, work from heights and confined spaces, and handle materials to install cable plant. Two openings are available; the wage range is $18.59–$36.85 per hour.

Summary:

Follows established safety practices and procedures and when needed be able to work in all types of weather. Must possess ability to learn to drive and operate digger truck and trailer, and to be able to obtain the required CDL driver's license by the end of their qualifying period.

• Must interact with work forces to coordinate and disseminate information to complete job assignments and other sections to attain Company service objectives.
• Must maintain a professional image, support and participate in promotion of Company products.
• Must support and participate in promotion of Company products.
• Must be able to demonstrate the basic usage of a computer (laptop) with Company provided training by the end of the qualifying period as well as attend and pass any other training schools as assigned by the Company.
