Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Construction Technician in Seymour, IN to follow safety practices and operate digger truck and trailer. The role requires learning to drive and obtaining a CDL by the end of the qualifying period.

You will work in all weather, perform duties such as lifting tools, climbing ladders, working from heights and from a bucket, handling materials, and installing cable plant while supporting company objectives. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Summary

Follows established safety practices and procedures and when needed be able to work in all types of weather. Must possess ability to learn to drive and operate digger truck and trailer, and to be able to obtain the required CDL driver's license by the end of their qualifying period.

• May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.

Basic Qualifications

• Maintain and construct all outside plant to meet quality standards and Company policies as well as perform any other duties as assigned.
• Must interact with work forces to coordinate and disseminate information to complete job assignments and other sections to attain Company service objectives.
• Must maintain a professional image, support and participate in promotion of Company products.
• Must support and participate in promotion of Company products.
• Must be able to demonstrate the basic usage of a computer (laptop) with Company provided training by the end of the qualifying period as well as attend and pass any other training schools as assigned by the Company.
