Job summary

Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix seeks an experienced educator to lead the Construction Technologies CTE program. The teacher will guide curriculum development, ensure safety and hands-on learning, and coordinate with administration for startup and ongoing program growth.

Ideal candidates will bring industry experience, a CTE teaching certification, and commitment to Catholic education. Part-time or full-time roles with an exempt status are available.

Qualifications

• Must have Arizona Department of Education CTE Teaching Certification.
• Must complete Safe Environment Training and a signed Code of Conduct.
• Must obtain FBI Fingerprint clearance.
• Must meet Ministry Formation Certification and/or recertification as required by Diocesan policy.
• Preference given to a practicing Catholic.
• Must be willing to make a public Profession of Faith if Catholic.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the new Construction Technologies program and support startup activities.
• Develop and implement an instructional program aligned with Diocesan Curriculum Standards and ADE CTE standards.
• Establish safe, hands-on learning environments and manage shop activities with professional trade ethics.
• Collaborate with administration and parents for student progress and program partnerships.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and diocesan trainings.
