Job summary

Pima County JTED #11 seeks a qualified instructor to implement Construction Technologies curriculum aligned with district goals and industry standards. You will engage students, differentiate strategies, and coordinate with business partners to provide authentic placement opportunities.

Responsibilities include developing plans, assessing progress, and communicating outcomes with families and staff while maintaining a safe, organized learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Career & Technical Education Industrial and Emerging Technologies teaching certificate (provisional or standard).
• Three years teaching experience in career/technical/occupational education in a certified secondary program is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of secondary curriculum and instruction in career/technical/occupational/vocational education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to improve student achievement in the Construction Program.
• Differentiate instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, curricular maps, and assessments.
