Job summary

Duininck is seeking a full-time Construction Technology Specialist to oversee the integration and utilization of technology in our golf course construction projects in Minnesota. You will work with project managers, contractors and the Engineering team to implement solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy in fieldwork.

The role involves processing survey data, converting design files for GPS, creating surfaces, and performing earthwork takeoffs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data collected in the field.
• Convert design files to clean linework for GPS in the field.
• Create and export surfaces; manage design changes to files.
• Process scan data and prepare data for export back to the field.
• Perform earthwork takeoffs from design files and field survey data.
• Create cut/fill maps and as-built documents.
• Analyze GPS data to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering support across the company.
• Provide training and support on construction technology tools.
• Monitor performance of technology solutions and adjust as needed.
• Stay updated on construction tech trends and apply them to projects.
