Job summary

Mmc-Land-Management- is seeking an Erosion Control Team Member to protect construction sites and the environment. This hands-on, outdoor role involves installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control measures, monitoring site conditions, and supporting safe, environmentally responsible construction.

You will gain exposure to a variety of home building projects while building skills in construction management and collaborating with a team of professionals on regulations and safety.

Qualifications

• Construction site experience, specifically erosion control or civil construction.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on outdoor work in varying weather conditions including lifting materials.
• Strong communication to work with team, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain erosion control measures per project specs.
• Assist with erosion control plans on active sites and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Regularly assess site conditions and the effectiveness of controls.
• Keep accurate records of work and site conditions.

Job description

Help protect construction sites and the environment as an Erosion Control Team Member supporting home building projects. In this hands‑on, outdoor role, you will work with a team to install and maintain erosion and sediment control measures, monitor site conditions, and support safe, environmentally responsible construction. Gain exposure to a variety of construction projects while building skills in construction management.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain silt fences, sediment basins, erosion mats, and other erosion control measures according to project specifications.
• Work with the team to carry out erosion control plans on active home building sites and support compliance with environmental regulations.
• Regularly assess site conditions and the effectiveness of erosion control measures, addressing issues promptly.
• Keep accurate records of completed work and site conditions.
• Assist with managing contracts for erosion control materials and services while supporting safety and environmental standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and help maintain a safety‑focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Construction site experience, particularly in erosion control or civil construction, with familiarity with erosion control practices.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Ability to perform hands‑on outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, and completing manual tasks.
• Effective communication skills to work with team members, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Compensation

$22.00–$24.00 per hour
