Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a tax professional with construction industry expertise to manage complex returns and lead engagements across partnerships, S‑Corps, C‑Corps and individuals. You will oversee multi‑state compliance, advise on contractor structures, and mentor staff.

Strong knowledge of long‑term contract methods and pass‑through taxation is required, along with CPA licensure and proven leadership in public accounting teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years public accounting tax experience, construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, multi-entity structures, pass-through taxation, long‑term contract methods.
• CPA required and ability to lead teams and review complex returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex tax returns for construction clients (partnerships, S-Corps, C‑Corps, individuals).
• Oversee federal, state, and multi‑state tax compliance for construction clients.
• Provide tax planning guidance on contractor structures, entity selection, and owner/partner tax implications.
• Supervise, coach, and develop staff; oversee engagement teams and multiple tax engagements.
