Job summary

EMC Mechanical Services, part of Doswell Operating Group, is seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for field, service, and office roles in the Richmond, VA area. You’ll partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, source candidates, and build strong pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in talent acquisition within construction or skilled trades, a Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of ATS and sourcing tools, and excellent English

Qualifications

• 3+ years in talent acquisition, construction or skilled trades.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business or psychology.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal hiring.
• Experience with ATS, sourcing tools and social media.
• Strong networking in Greater Richmond area.
• Proficient with MS Office; quick learner of new systems.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruiting for field, service, and office roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines and priorities.
• Conduct phone screens, interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions.
• Proactively source candidates using job boards, ATS, referrals, social media and industry channels.
• Build and maintain pipelines for high-volume skilled trade positions.
• Attend career fairs and community recruiting events as needed.
