Job summary

Sequoia Services LLC is seeking an adaptable Talent Acquisition Specialist to support company-wide growth through recruitment, program development, and operational support in the construction sector.

This role collaborates with leadership to hire staff, coordinate travel and onboarding, and develop internship programs. Experience in recruiting, operations, and exposure to civil construction is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, human resources, operations, or administrative coordination.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and represent the company externally.
• Self-starter with proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate company-wide hiring efforts, from sourcing to arrival on site.
• Manage and tailor travel logistics including hotel and event registrations.
• Facilitate employee onboarding, transfers, and relocations.
• Support project prequalification efforts.
• Create and update job descriptions across departments.
• Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
• Assist in developing and managing internal initiatives.
• Help build and formalize new programs and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand staffing needs.
• Understanding of heavy equipment usage and concrete construction practices related to civil projects.
