Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a Construction Survey Technician responsible for providing field and office support to the construction survey team in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves interpreting design drawings, supporting construction installations, and ensuring quality and safety.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree and relevant experience, alongside skills in various survey instruments and team collaboration. The position involves physical activities including walking on sites and lifting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years relevant experience or 6-9 years relevant work experience.
• Must be physically capable of participating in project walkdowns and lifting up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Construction Survey support to the PC and Project Survey Manager.
• Assist the PC with accurate layout of construction work and field data recordation.
• Perform duties of a Rod Person and Instrument Person.
• Support team implementation of project safety and quality programs.

Skills

Multi-Disciplined Field Engineering Survey experience

Knowledge of engineering and construction methods

Knowledge of Bechtel's safety program

Demonstrated team work ability

Trimble Robotic Total Stations experience

Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
