Job summary

White Cap in San Jose, CA is hiring immediately for a Counter Sales Associate. You will interact with walk-in, phone, and will-call customers in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.

You should bring strong customer service, experience with sales-order software (Oracle preferred), and knowledge of construction products. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Process orders, quote prices, enter orders, and provide order info.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty info.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and provide technical advice.
• Upsell by identifying related products and promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
