Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation, located in Denver-Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead cost estimation and scope development for natural gas projects. You will coordinate contractor resources, work with Gas Engineering and Construction Management, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required are an Associate degree with four years of construction/PM experience or a GED with six years, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Requires an Associate degree with at least four years of construction or project management experience.
Alternative: high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of six years of construction or project management experience.
Project management experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Identifies, develops and provides construction cost estimates for natural gas projects.
Develops and communicates construction scope of work documents.
Determines and executes appropriate compensation structure or contract type for natural gas construction projects.
Initiates and administers process of solicitation, evaluation and recommendation of external bids.
Coordinates, assigns and manages contractor resource allocations for construction projects.
Coordinates, schedules, and monitors construction activities.
Monitors project status and liaises between Gas Engineering and Construction Management and other organizations.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and business requirements for contractors.
Forecasts workload and manpower requirements; reports progress to management.
Maintains records and reports to comply with company and regulatory standards.
