Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a supervisor to oversee construction operations and ensure safety and adherence to customer/specifications. This role includes training staff, assigning daily production, and managing materials to support efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, experience in telecommunications, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. On-site supervision and rapid problem-solving are key in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
• Knowledge of and ability to handle tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operations to ensure construction work meets specifications and safety.
• Provide on-the-job training on construction practices to ensure a safe, productive environment.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers.
• Requisition, assign and track daily materials.
• Audit operations for compliance with project specs and safe practices.
• Resolve complaints with property owners where our personnel work.
• Review daily production reports and material usage; track hours and create as-built maps.
• Reconcile issued parts and materials to ensure accurate usage.
• Verify daily production reports for accuracy and approve for billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on projects are working safely and productively.

Provide employees working under your direction "On the Job Training" such as; construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.

Requisition, assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.

Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.

Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.

Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built.

Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.

Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes.

Other duties as assigned.
