Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Construction Supervisor for Albany or Macon, GA. You will direct crews, monitor subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with contract specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in telecom or utility construction, CDL preferred, and strong communication. The role requires physical work, safety focus, and collaboration with operations and customers. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience in Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance.
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate construction equipment safely.
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and supervise employees and subcontractors per contract specs.
• Ensure safety, quality and production goals are met.
• Maintain daily production sheets and reporting.
• Inspect trucks and equipment for defects.
• Participate in daily/weekly calls with operations and customers.
• Resolve complaints and maintain internal/external relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Direct, coordinate and supervise, dispatch, train, inspect, and monitor employees and subcontractors in the correct placement/repair of cable and restorations ensuring results are according to contract and process specifications
• Ensure employees meet all safety, quality, and production goals according to rules, regulations, and standards set by company
• Maintain daily production sheets and other reporting
• Inspect trucks/equipment for defects
• Participate in daily/weekly calls with operations and customers
• Resolve complaints
• Performs other duties as necessary
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally

What You’ll Need

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• 3+ years of experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc), Google applications, and/or other construction related software aplications
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)
