Construction Supervisor – Aerial & Underground Telecommunications

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Full-Time | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire | Occasional Overtime

Travel Required | Valid Driver’s License Needed

TEKsystems is partnering with a rapidly growing telecommunications client in Indianapolis to find a skilled Construction Supervisor with experience in aerial and underground construction. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for candidates looking to grow into a long-term leadership role in a high-demand industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate aerial and underground construction crews
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Conduct site inspections and monitor daily progress
• Collaborate with foremen to meet production goals
• Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring field staff
• Read and interpret design maps, prints, and job specifications
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement effective solutions
• Maintain accurate daily production reports
• Travel between job sites and manage project documentation
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience in aerial and underground telecom construction
• Strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple crews
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
