Construction Supervisor – Telecommunications
Location: Southwest Georgia – Macon, Albany, Columbus, and Bainbridge
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually

Position Overview
We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee field operations supporting telecommunications infrastructure projects throughout Southwest Georgia. This position is responsible for leading field personnel, coordinating subcontractor activities, monitoring daily production, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and according to schedule.
The Construction Supervisor will serve as a key connection between field teams, subcontractors, customers, and company leadership. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field, managing competing priorities, resolving job-site challenges, and maintaining clear communication across multiple active projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of field personnel
- Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor job-site coverage
- Visit active construction sites throughout the assigned market
- Monitor subcontractor production, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements
- Ensure projects remain aligned with customer schedules and operational priorities
- Track daily production, productivity, quality, and project progress
- Maintain accurate reports, project photos, timekeeping, and system updates
- Review and interpret construction prints and project documentation
- Identify and resolve field roadblocks, delays, and customer concerns
- Provide regular project-status updates to company leadership
- Maintain strong working relationships with employees, subcontractors, and customers
- Reinforce company expectations related to safety, quality, accountability, and production
- Assist with workforce planning, performance management, and employee development
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience within construction, utilities, telecommunications, or a related field environment
- Experience directing field personnel and coordinating daily production activities
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and changing priorities
- Experience tracking project progress and maintaining operational documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address field issues independently
- Comfortable working outdoors and traveling between job sites throughout the assigned territory
- Ability to read construction prints, plans, or related project documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Outside Plant, fiber, utility, civil, or telecommunications construction
- Familiarity with underground and aerial construction activities
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and monitoring field quality
- Knowledge of construction safety, production reporting, and key performance metrics
- Experience managing project budgets or related financial responsibilities
