Job summary

The Residential Construction Supervisor will oversee on-site residential projects from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring timelines and budgets, and enforcing safety and building code compliance.

This full-time, on-site role requires MA license, 5+ years supervising residential builds, Procore and MS Office proficiency, and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of residential construction supervision experience.
• Knowledge of residential building trades; carpentry preferred.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Experience using Procore and MS Office.
• OSHA, LEED, PHIUS or similar certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction activities within timeline, budget, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project partners; ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve delays.
• Maintain and organize project documentation (permits, RFIs, progress reports).
• Develop, manage, and update construction schedules and sequencing of tasks.
• Ensure job site is clean, organized, and safe for all workers.

Residential Construction Supervisor

Location: Boston, MA (On-site; Travel to Local Residential Project Sites Required)

Salary: $85,000 to $130,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

Thoughtforms is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to oversee on-site residential construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and building codes. You will also maintain project documentation, develop construction schedules, and ensure that work meets Thoughtforms' high standards of quality.

• OSHA, LEED, PHIUS, or similar certifications are a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
