JUST BUILDING INC in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor / Production Manager to oversee multiple residential construction job sites and lead our field crews. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can identify and resolve job site issues, provide guidance to crew members, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience.
• Supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2-3 active residential and light commercial construction job sites.
• Lead, mentor, and direct field crews, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality according to company standards.
• Diagnose construction issues and provide practical solutions and direction to crew members.
• Perform hands-on construction work when necessary to keep projects moving.
• Coordinate daily schedules, manpower, and materials across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with material runner and ensure timely material delivery.
• Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with building codes and company standards.
• Communicate project progress, concerns, and material needs to stakeholders.
• Train and develop crew members on proper construction techniques and company expectations.
• Maintain positive relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.

This position requires someone who is willing to work alongside the crews when needed while maintaining oversight of daily field operations.

• Lead, mentor, and direct field crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
• Diagnose construction issues and provide practical solutions and direction to crew members.
• Perform hands‑on construction work when necessary to keep projects moving and support the team.
• Coordinate daily schedules, manpower, and materials across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on residential construction experience, with supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, including framing, roofing, siding, windows, doors, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and finish work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and prioritize daily tasks.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift materials when necessary.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
