Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions seeks a seasoned General Superintendent – Construction to lead field operations, drive safety, and ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards. You will coordinate trades, supervise crews, review plans, and manage on-site execution across multi-project scopes.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, deep construction knowledge, and the ability to resolve issues with stakeholders while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
• 12+ years of construction experience; at least 5 years in a senior superintendent role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Broad knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and multiple trades.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schedules, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall site leadership for superintendents, foremen, craft personnel, and subcontractors.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination of all construction activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and manpower to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction plans for execution accuracy.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in field operations, efficiency, and cost control.
• Support client relationships and participate in progress and coordination meetings.
