Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Westerly, RI is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. Starting salary at $70K+ per year, negotiable based on experience, plus a company vehicle, with eligibility for a yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience.
• 2 years project management experience required.
• Strong remodeling/restoration experience.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with customers throughout the project to ensure excellent customer service.
• Management and scheduling of direct report Carpenters.
• Communicates technical problems with installations to the Regional Construction Manager.
• Ensures materials, permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained timely.
• Ensures timely and quality completion of construction and carpentry projects.
• Adheres to scope, time, and material specifications; reports discrepancies to management.
• Assists in change order estimating and documentation.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Monitors productivity of Construction division employees.
• Reviews job cost reports to monitor labor and materials.
