Ferguson Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations from award to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and adherence to proven practices within commercial construction.

Candidate should have leadership experience in commercial projects, proficiency with project documentation, and strong communication skills to coordinate with project teams and trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum (1) year in a leadership role in commercial construction.
• Experience managing mid- to large-scale construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour or OSHA 10-hour certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Strong knowledge of safety laws and company policies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical construction documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
• Experience with large construction projects required.
• NUCOR Buildings experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion jobsite safety and enforce all safety policies with consistency and integrity.
• Oversee construction activities in accordance with project plans, specifications, and proven work practices.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Supervise craft workers and promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and high performance.
• Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment needs.
• Maintain schedule efficiency while minimizing unnecessary overtime and general conditions.
• Ensure accuracy of craft timecards and weekly equipment hour reporting.
• Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Provide precise layout and communication across all trades.
• Support or lead job setup, communication workflows, safety compliance, quality control, and closeout.
• Assist Project Managers with material scheduling and change management processes.
• Develop and manage site logistics plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
