Job summary

Ferguson Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site management for complex projects across industrial, commercial, and institutional markets. You will oversee staff, scheduling, safety, and subcontractor relations from award to completion.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, at least five years of leadership in commercial construction, OSHA certification, and strong blueprint reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Min 5 years leadership experience in commercial construction.
• OSHA 30/10 certification.
• Procore and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience with large-scale projects.
• NUCOR Buildings experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project safety and enforce policies.
• Construct the project per plans, specs, and standard practices.
• Coordinate required paperwork with the project team.
• Supervise craft workers on the project.
• Plan work schedule, staffing, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain schedule and control overtime and general conditions.
• Report weekly equipment hours.
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and use of materials.
• Ensure accurate layout and clear communication to trades.
• Ensure on-time delivery while focusing on safety, quality, and budget.
• Assist PM with material delivery schedules and change management.
• Lead or assist with job setup, safety, record-keeping, quality, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain site logistics.
• Perform other duties as required.
