Job summary

Ferguson Construction Co. in Ohio seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site management from award to completion. You will staff, schedule, and manage subcontractor relations while coordinating with the project team to meet safety, quality, and budget goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial construction leadership, OSHA certification, and the ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings. Strong communication with diverse crews is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years practical leadership experience in commercial construction; large projects.
• OSHA 30-hour or 10-hour certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication skills with diverse teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Maintain project safety and enforce policies.
• Construct the project per plans, specs and standard practices.
• Coordinate with project team to complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Supervise craft workers on the site.
• Plan work schedule, staffing levels, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain schedule to minimize overtime and track hours.
• Coordinate material delivery, storage, and usage.
• Ensure layout accuracy and convey information to trades.
• Support PM with delivery schedules and change management.
• Lead or assist with site setup, safety compliance, record-keeping, quality control, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain site logistics.
• Perform other duties as required.
