Job summary

The LiRo Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent for Dannemora, NY to lead field operations on projects for NYS OGS. The role requires strong oversight of multi-trade contracts, safety and schedule adherence, with a focus on quality and compliance.

Candidates should have extensive experience in large-scale building projects, OSHA 30, and the ability to develop and communicate work plans while coordinating with inspectors and safety staff.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in construction involving large-scale projects.
• OSHA 30 certification and site safety awareness.
• Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts in a secure facility.
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control and schedule adherence.
• Ensure timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Perform inspections, prepare reports, and supervise inspectors.
• Maintain daily logs of progress, staffing, materials, and issues.
• Identify and resolve problems, conduct meetings, and coordinate with team.
• Monitor contractor safety operations and coordinate with Safety Manager.
• Travel may be required.
