Job summary

Thomas James Homes in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee the vertical construction of 5–9 projects from permitting to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion with quality and safety. You will input updates in real time to keep status accurate.

You’ll manage trade partners, schedules, and inspections, lead weekly safety meetings, and uphold TJH construction standards across sites.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of construction experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vertical construction for 5-9 projects from permitting to home delivery.
• Maintain updated and accurate construction schedules; coordinate trades, material deliveries, and inspections.
• Ensure contractors meet TJH standards and regulatory requirements at all sites.
• Act as primary company representative on job sites with staff, contractors, buyers, and inspectors.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce OSHA and state regulations; monitor quality checkpoints and daily progress.
