Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee luxury residential construction projects in the San Jose area. The role covers day-to-day site operations, subcontractor coordination, and schedule management from groundbreaking to completion.

Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years in high-end residential construction, strong reading of plans, and solid knowledge of building codes. Valid driver's license and reliable transport are required; degree preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of construction Superintendent experience.
• Experience with high-end residential construction (or custom homes).
• Strong knowledge of residential construction, sequencing, and building codes.
• Ability to read architectural plans and construction documents.
• Strong subcontractor management and scheduling skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities and onsite operations.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Review plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate inspections, permitting, and local building requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, safety, and jobsite cleanliness.
• Identify and resolve construction issues and scheduling conflicts.
• Communicate project updates with Project Managers, architects, and homeowners.
• Manage punch lists and final project completion.

Job Details
