Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations, supervise crews, and deliver projects safely and with high quality. This role acts as a key liaison for clients and project teams across multiple sites.

The position emphasizes reviewing plans, enforcing OSHA safety standards, and maintaining meticulous documentation, with opportunities for ESOP ownership and performance-based bonuses. Travel to assigned jobsites will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven superintendent or construction leadership experience.
• Experience in commercial roofing, architectural sheet metal, and/or waterproofing is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing multiple crews or job sites.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards; certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire field personnel.
• Lead, train, and supervise field crews across multiple job sites
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule on-site construction activities
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies; conduct regular inspections
• Capable of reviewing blueprints, specifications, and project documents
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure compliance
• Monitor schedules, productivity, and project milestones
• Maintain daily logs, safety reports, and inspection documentation
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
• Troubleshoot jobsite challenges and make timely decisions
