Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Superintendent Intern/Co-op to learn the full lifecycle of a project by working with experienced field leaders. You will gain hands-on exposure from site mobilization through project completion while supporting field operations and safety culture.

The role emphasizes collaboration, quality inspections, and coordination of subcontractors. A GPA of 3.0+ and enrollment in a construction-related degree are required, with a driver’s license and strong communication

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
• Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Active Driver’s License

A Day in the Life:

As aSuperintendentIntern/Co-op, every day brings a new lesson.You’llgain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who areinvestedin your growth.

Here’swhat you can expect:

• Field Operations – Gain exposure to how ARCO manages daily job site activities from site mobilization through project completion.

• Safety Leadership – Participate in daily safety meetings, job site inspections, and learn how to promote andmaintaina strong safety culture.

• Scheduling & Coordination – Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and monitoring progress to help keep projects on schedule.

• Quality Control – Observe and support quality inspections to ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and ARCO standards.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/ConstructionEngineering or Construction Management degree program
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Active Driver’s License
