Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a motivated Superintendent Intern to learn the construction process on active projects. You will gain hands-on experience on jobsites across commercial, industrial, distribution, and more, while building critical skills under the guidance of seasoned superintendents.

The internship offers housing near the jobsite, daily per diem, mileage coverage for travel to the site, ESOP eligibility, and potential path to a full-time role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree programs.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Co‑op or internship construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing or walking for long periods, walking on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting loads up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating schedules and on-site project coordination.
• Communicate with subcontractors to keep projects on track.
• Support project lifecycle tasks from start to finish.
