Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Rockford, IL is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead restoration construction projects from start to finish. The role offers a starting salary around $70,000+ plus a company vehicle and potential yearly bonus, with opportunities for advancement.

The successful candidate will manage carpenters and subcontractors, ensure quality and timely delivery, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance on job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience.
• 2 years project management experience (preferred).
• Strong remodeling/restoration experience (preferred).
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Xactimate experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with customers throughout the entire project to ensure excellent customer service.
• Management and scheduling of direct report Carpenters.
• Manage subcontractors as needed to support project completion, quality and timelines.
• Ensure timely and quality completion of all construction and carpentry projects.
• Adhere to scope time and material specifications and communicate discrepancies to management.
• Coordinate safety practices and PPE usage on site.
