Job summary

Teck Resources Limited seeks a Construction Superintendent for Red Dog Operations in Alaska. You will provide on-site leadership across mechanical, piping, and electrical infrastructure to deliver major capital work within schedule, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is desirable but not required.
10+ years of experience in construction of major projects in resource industry.
Experience with underground mining infrastructure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Be a courageous safety leader and embed Teck’s HSEC program.
Lead on-site construction activities across mechanical, piping and electrical scopes.
Ensure work complies with schedules, specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, project controls, procurement and operations to maximize project efficiency.
Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with operations during site establishment, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
