Job summary

AJB General Contractor, a Las Vegas-based firm, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to provide day-to-day oversight of commercial and industrial projects. You will coordinate trades, ensure proper sequencing, monitor schedule and budget, and uphold quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least five years with a GC on similar projects, knowledge of scheduling with subcontractors, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with either a General Contractor or Owner Developer on commercial/industrial projects.
• OSHA 30 Certificate required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; some higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all job site activities from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors and field personnel; ensure timely performance.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and inspections for timely completion.
• Monitor project budget and adherence to plans, specs, and time/quality targets.
• Assist PM with scheduling, track delays, and communicate changes.
• Ensure safety of workers and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Support closeout activities including punch-list completion.
