Job summary

Employbridge is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on concrete construction projects in the Dallas area. You will supervise crews, manage schedules, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on field work, and collaboration with clients and teams to drive quality and efficiency across mobilization through completion.

Qualifications

  • 4 years construction experience coordinating multiple trades
  • 3 years concrete experience and understanding of concrete construction means, methods, sequencing and field operation
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field operations and supervise field personnel
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and quality assurance activities
  • Review RFIs, drawings, and submittals to support project execution
  • Mobilize projects and coordinate site setup, utilities, permits, and inspections

We're seeking a driven and hands-on Superintendent I to lead field operations and play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality, and profitable concrete construction projects. This position is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in the field, enjoys leading crews, and takes pride in keeping projects on schedule while building strong relationships with clients and team members. As a Superintendent, you'll be empowered to make an impact every day by leading field operations, mentoring craft professionals, and helping shape the success of our projects from mobilization through completion.

What You'll Do
Safety Leadership

Safety is our top priority, and we expect our leaders to set the standard

  • Champion and promote a strong Safety First culture on every projects
  • Lead project safety implementation in accordance with company safety programs and policies
  • Partner closely with Safety Coordinators to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
  • Participate in incident investigations and employee support efforts as needed
  • Enforce site-specific safety plans and safe work practices for all employees, subcontractors, and trade partner
  • Proactively identify and address potential hazards before they become issues
Field Operations & Project Execution
  • Direct and supervise day-to-day field operations and workforce activities
  • Participate in project turnover meetings and planning sessions with project leadership
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and quality assurance activities
  • Develop and maintain site logistics plans in partnership with the Project Manager
  • Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and project cost
  • Manage project schedules and drive progress to meet or exceed critical milestone
  • Mobilize projects and coordinate site setup, utilities, permits, and inspection
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings and field documentation
  • Review RFIs, project drawings, and submittals to support successful project execution
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field crews to maintain workflow and schedule performance
  • Complete daily reports, concrete logs, sign-in sheets and other project documentation
  • Maintain current shop drawings and field record
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Coach, mentor, and develop foremen, craftsmen, and field personnel
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and mentorship across all levels of the project team
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, trade partners, and internal stakeholder
  • Help create an environment where people can grow their careers while delivering outstanding results
What We're Looking For
Construction Knowledge
  • Four (4) years' construction experience coordinating multiple trades and managing project execution in the field
  • Three (3) years concrete experience and strong understanding of concrete construction means, methods, sequencing, and field operation
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project document
Leadership Skills
  • Proven ability to lead crews and motivate teams toward common goal
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to remain organized and effective in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving accountability on the jobsite
Communication & Relationship Build
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to build trust with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-focused minds
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and modern construction technology platform
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and field reporting software
