We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on a variety of K-12 construction projects, with project sizes ranging from $5K to $20M. The ideal candidate will bring extensive field leadership experience especially in managing complex renovations, including kitchen remodels and MEP system upgrades such as chiller replacements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who is passionate about quality construction, field team coordination, and delivering safe, on-time, and within-budget projects for educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all daily on-site activities for K-12 construction projects, ensuring work is performed according to schedule, safety standards, and specifications.
• Supervise subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring clear communication, performance, and adherence to plans.
• Oversee complex renovation scopes, including kitchen remodels and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) upgrades.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to maintain compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager to align schedules, address change orders, and resolve field issues.
• Conduct and lead site meetings, including daily huddles and weekly progress updates with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitor material deliveries, equipment usage, and field productivity to keep the project on track and minimize delays.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, field logs, and schedule updates; submit reports to the Project Manager and senior leadership.
• Ensure quality control by reviewing installation procedures, verifying dimensions, and checking adherence to plans and specs.
• Serve as the on-site representative for client, architect, and engineer visits; facilitate walkthroughs and inspections.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of field construction experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
• Demonstrated success managing K-12 or institutional renovation projects, especially involving kitchens or MEP upgrades.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead subcontractors and field crews.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, ADA compliance, and public school construction requirements.
• Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project, or similar tools).
• High school diploma required; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
• OSHA 30-hour certification (required).
